If you want music, you go to Chicago, Memphis, maybe New Orleans.

How about Niagara Falls?

Just about every night, all summer, is music night along Lundy’s Lane. Different bars and restaurants, different musical styles – but definitely something for every taste.

In June alone, the street will be alive to music as diverse as Simply Hip (a top-notch Tragically Hip tribute band), country performers Chelsea Crites and Paul Chapman, the Irish sounds of 3 Man Group, local favourites Mad Men.

Add to that a show by Avenue Inn (you might remember them from their opening spot on the Burton Cummings New Year’s Eve show back in December), rock from Polyester Groove or Vinyl Flux and softer acoustic numbers by Cory Cruise.

It’s up and down the Lane, at places like Strada West, Boston Pizza, Mick and Angelo’s, the Blind Pig, Doc Magilligan’s, Chip N Charlies and even Saturday mornings at the farmers’ market.

Niagara is getting a good reputation around Ontario as an incubator for top bands and performers, and here is your chance to catch the next wave as it starts.

Not only is the music great, it’s also a really good excuse to sample some of the best eateries Niagara Falls has to offer.

Of course, that’s something this city has been known for for decades and decades – a wide menu of really great places to eat with every food under the sun available somewhere here.

A good meal is exactly what you need after a full day in the Falls. And nothing makes a really good meal great like fine music to enjoy with it.
